Itinerary
After we picked up all the guests half an hour before the experience began at the hotel where they were staying around the Bukit Lawang village, we gathered at the ecolodge inn and restaurant.
After all the preparations were finished we began the eight o’clock morning experience on foot to the national park.
It takes about half an hour to reach the national park border through a local plantation.
They plant rubber, bamboo and durian trees.
At the border of the national park, the park guard will ask for permission to enter and guide licensed
In the national park, wild animals.
Semi-wild orangutans in national parks are easier to observe than wild orangutans.
Even though semi-wild orangutans are released from rehabilitation, they will live freely in their natural habitat.
After observing orangutans and other animals, we will head to the river to do traditional rafting on the bohorok river that flows into the hill village of Lawang.
