Take a walk through the sacred monkey forest where over 900 macaques roam freely amongst 12.5 hectares of natural forest. The sacred monkey forest is an important spiritual centre for the village of Padangtegal. Here you will enjoy seeing the cheeky monkeys in their natural habitat, allowing you to get up close to them. The monkeys are not aggressive animals and do not seek out food from visitors as they are fed by trained handlers at the sanctuary. A visit to the sacred monkey forest is an enjoyable day for the whole family.
