Mount Batur is considered as one of the most dramatic and accessible active volcanos on earth. At 1717 meters above the sea level, Mount Batur is Bali’s second most sacred mountain after the Mount Agung.
For this early morning trek, we will pick you up at the hotel or very early before dawn breaks (around 1.00 AM). Arriving in Kintamani area, have a light breakfast, before we switch to smaller car to the start point.
Start trekking and follow the straightforward path to the center of the crater for approximately 2 hours.
As the dawn arrives, relish the moment when the sun is moving up over the horizon with the shimmering view towards the vast Lake Batur.
If you are feeling adventurous, your guide may take you to a special section where he can show you how to cook an egg in the steaming fissures!
Descend by the same route to arrive back at the starting point.
