Located by the seaside, Ratenggaro Village is one of the many villages in Sumba that is still embracing its indigenous traditions. Stepping inside the area, you will feel the megalithic atmosphere right away due to the presence of ancient tombstones and traditional houses of Sumba Tribe.

Day 2: Refresh your body and soul!

In this area, you will get to see a man-made dam that on a first glance looks like a limestone cave with stalactites and with a calm pool inside. Then you will walk a bit to reach Weekacura Waterfall nearby. This waterfall looks like a small tosca pond, hidden in middle of green paddy fields. Take your time to swim and play around in its clean and refreshing water.

Without a doubt one of Indonesia’s finest natural attractions and of our customers’ favorite spot, Weekuri Lake is a sheltered inlet filled with dazzling turquoise salt water over white sand.

A short distance from Weekuri Lagoon is Mandorak Beach, a stunning white-sand beach framed by rocky cliffs. The water here is the same water which flows into Weekuri, so it is no surprise it is also crystal clear.

90 meters in height, Lapopu is the tallest waterfall in East Nusa Tenggara. It is a multilevel waterfal located on the bank of the Wanokaka River and its water is sourced from a fragment of the Labariri river that emerges from the cave, falling into a turquoise nature-made pool.
