Day 1: Sumba Barat (West) Day 1
Stop At: Weekuri Lake, Sumba Indonesia
Turquoise salt water lagoon by the ocean bay. Magical is the word to describe it.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Mandorak Beach, Sumba Indonesia
Mandorak beach is very close to Weekuri lagoon. It’s very private beach with beautiful scenery and it’s got a water blow that spits salt water to the sky.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Mbawana Beach, Panenggo Ede, Kodi Bangedo, Sumba Indonesia
Exotic beach right at the far west of the island. It’s famous for its big cliff with gigantic holes reaching out to the ocean. it is the best spot to enjoy Sumba sunset.

Day 2: East meets West Day 2
Stop At: Praijing Cultural Village, Tebara, Waikabubak, Sumba Indonesia
Praijing Heritage Village is an example of how Sumba people lived on the olden days. In here, you can witness how the weave their traditional cloth called “Kain Ikat’, which also colored with natural dye. Other things you will learn are their traditional housing, megalithic tombs and lots more. See for your self.

Stop At: Lapopu Waterfalls, Sumba Indonesia
Lapopu waterfall is one of the most favorite tourist destination. Its beautiful, still very pristine and its got multi-layers of waterfalls.

Stop At: Wairinding Hill, Waingapu, Sumba 87112 Indonesia
This is the best spot to enjoy both sunset and sunrise. Wairinding Hill is very unique and distinctive. It’s got both multi points hilltops and valley.

Pass By: Sleeping Giant Hill, Waingapu, Sumba 87112 Indonesia
Uniquely and naturally shaped as a sleeping Buddha AKA sleeping Giant. This is very interesting to witness.

Stop At: Savana Puru Kambera, Sumba Indonesia
As the name suggests its just a beautiful piece of savanna land that we could hardly find in other parts of Indonesia. But if you are OZ or Kiwi, you’ll find it just ‘ a piece of land with grass’ Lol. But it is a good Instagram spot.

I should call this the master piece of all waterfall in Sumba. Its just B.E.A. utiful…. no explaination needed. see it for yourself. it’s got moderate trekking on the way so better gear up for your journey.

Tenau Hills AKA Thousand hills. Nice spot to end your day to see the sun setting.

Day 4: Sumba Timur (East) Day 4
Stop At: Waimarang Waterfall, Waingapu, Sumba 87112 Indonesia
Early morning trekking to the waterfall. Waimarang waterfall is very famous for its private huge pool. There are three chambers in there. Cliff jumping is possible if you have the guts to do it. Cliff ninja walk is required to the to the top chamber aka secret chamber (bcoz so hard to get there)

Its the one of the royalty palace of East Sumba. Here, you will witness about Sumba architecture, Culture and Traditions.

Nice beautiful beach with magical mangrove to set your day with sunset. Remember to post by the mangrove for your Instagram feed

Rambu Chiko Gallery is located n Waingapu city. Here you can explore more on Sumba fabric Aka Tenun Ikat. Feel free to wander around the gallery and Shop till you drop.

Last stop of the trip. Bukit persaudaraan AKA Brotherhood Hills. Nice rice terrace view from above. Good for Instagram feed.
