From your resort from only selected regions, your driver and guide will welcome you at the lobby and drive in comfort to the Chedi Club Hotel, right in the rice paddy field heart of Ubud. This sprawling property has topped the list for many years as one of the leading smaller resorts, just a few minutes away from its artistic centre. You are welcomed courteously by the staff and brought over to the resort’s amphitheatre, the grounds where 50+ men, sitting in concentric circles around a brightly-lit fire for an almost monotonous chanting. But when listening closer and with a small orchestra accompanies this almost relentless ‘cak-cak-cak’ sound, you will hear up to different rhythmical combinations blending in the whole performance.
