Itinerary

Stop At: Tulamben Beach, Tulamben Indonesia

A private transfer from your hotel from South Bali, East Bali or Ubud to the boat pier in the morning will be the start of a full day of underwater amazement.

After arriving at the meeting point, we head out just a short distance away from the fabled Bali beaches to spot on top of the former US Navy transport ship USAT Liberty near Tulamben. This 120-metre ship was sunk during the Second World War and now provides a haven and home for coral, fish and other marine life. The hustle and bustle of what’s happening below the surface will be jaw-dropping once you go through the basics and instructions with a professional snorkelling instructor. If you happen to have a waterproof camera, now is the time to shoot some amazing video or photo of an array of colours and marine life! We head back to shore for lunch at a local restaurant near the beach before we move on.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Tirta Gangga, Jl. Abang-Amlapura, Karangasem 80852 Indonesia

The afternoon is reserved to touch base with some of the religious monuments of eastern Bali. The Taman Tirta Gangga (or Water Palace) consists of various ornamental pools and ponds, left behind as a legacy by the former Balinese Rajah’s and how they lived.

Duration: 45 minutes

Pass By: Nusa Penida Island, Sampalan Nusa Garden Bungalow, 80771 Indonesia

Following a short round around the compound of this water temple, our driver will bring you along the main coastal road where you can see the Nusa Penida Island group.

Stop At: Goa Lawah Temple, Jl. Raya Goa Lawah Pesinggahan, Dawan Indonesia

Our day ends at the Pura Goa Lawah (or Bat Cave). Outside being the home of thousands of bats, legends say that a titanic snake wearing a crown has called this home for thousands of years. The shrine and temple in front of the cave entrance provide a spiritual barrier to protect this holy cave from evil. Your guide will elaborately explain the importance of this temple as it is considered one of the nine holy temples on the Island of Gods.

The day comes to an end and, of course, we will bring you back to your resort at designated regions.
