Next head to Tirta Empul Temple (Spring Holy Temple), located in the village of Manukaya. Tirta Empul is actually the name of a water source within the temple where the Balinese go to bathe in the sacred waters for healing and spiritual benefits.

Day 2: Ulundanu Bratan Temple – Taman Ayun – Tanah Lot with Sunset
Stop At: Taman Ayun Temple, Jl. Ayodya No.10, Mengwi 80351 Indonesia
Then you will make the 30-minute drive to Ayun Temple, the royal family temple of the Mengwi Kingdom. Translating to ‘beautiful garden,’ Taman Ayun was built in the 1600s and is surrounded by a moat.

Next, enjoy the scenery during the 35-minute drive to Ulun Danu Pratan Temple, known for its setting on Lake Bratan in the mountains near Bedugul. A water temple, the complex plays a role in serving the surrounding outflow area; downstream, there are smaller water temples specific to each subak, Bali’s UNESCO World Heritage–listed system of irrigation.

Day 3: Denpasar City – Nusa Dua Beach – Uluwatu Temple with Sunset
