Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up at the airport/hotel, and transfer in at Hotel at Makassar, then continue the trip to Malino for 3 hours.

Stop At: Balla Lompoa Museum, Jl. Sultan Hasanuddin No. 48 Sungguminasa Jln. Gowa Raya, Sungguminasa 92111 Indonesia
Pick up at the airport/hotel, and continue the trip to Malino for 3 hours. During the trip we will stop by for lunch in local restaurant at the city center of Makassar. After that, we will visit Balla Lompoa Museum that built on an area of one hectare bounded by a high wall, Balla Lompoa that shaped like a house on stilts was originally a royal palace that been built in 1936 by Mangngi-mangngi Daeng Matutu, King of Gowa XXXI.

Day 2: Rammang – Rammang – Bantimurung

Stop At: Rammang-Rammang Village, Dusun Rammang-Rammang Desa Salenrang, Maros Indonesia
“Rammang-Rammang” comes from the language of Makassar, where rammang means “cloud” or “mist”. So, rammang-rammang means a set of cloud or fog. According to the local believe this place was named Rammang-Rammang because of the clouds or fog that always appearing around the area, especially in the morning or when it rains.

Located in the Maros regency in the province of South Sulawesi, the Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park is a mere 50 km from Makassar or 20 km from the Sultan Hasanuddin international airport. The Bantimurung National Park has a total area of approximately 43,750 hectares and is divided into three major types of ecosystems, namely the karst ecosystems, a lowland forest ecosystem, and a lower montane forest ecosystem.

Day 3: Samalona Island (Snorkeling) – Fort Rotterdam

Samalona Island has a beach with fne white sand and the sea water that is pure blue. On this island, there are many coconut trees that give dramatic nuance over the beauty. Samalona Island is also famous for the beauty of the underwater. Those who visit this island can do swimming and diving, while seeing the beautiful coral reefs with colorful sea fishes.

Stop At: Fort Rotterdam, Ujung Pandang Street, Makassar Indonesia
Fort Rotterdam (Benteng Ujung Pandang as it is now called) is an Old Dutch colonial fort in Makassar, overlooking the harbor. It is one of the top attractions in Makassar.

Day 4: Paotere – Somba Opu – Transfer Out

Stop At: Paotere Harbor, Makassar Indonesia
Pelabuhan Paotere, 4km north of the city centre, is a large port where Bugis sailing ships berth. It’s a working port, with requisite bustle and grime, but the ships are photogenic, and people generally friendly. The port and the nearby fish market are atmospheric places from dawn until mid-morning, when giant tuna and every sea creature imaginable are traded.
