Itinerary

Day 1: JOGJAKARTA ARRIVAL

Stop At: Stasiun Yogyakarta, Jl. Ps. Kembang No.77, Sosromenduran, Gedong Tengen, Kota Yogyakarta, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta 55271, Indonesia
Arrive at the Jogjakarta International Airport. Your private chauffeur will be waiting for you, then drive to the hotel to check-in. Spend the rest of your day at leisure.

Day 2: BOROBUDUR TEMPLE – CANIREJO – DINNER RAMAYANA DANCE

Stop At: Borobudur Temple, Jl. Badrawati, Kw. Candi Borobudur, Borobudur, Kec. Borobudur, Kabupaten Magelang, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia
In the morning drive to Borobudur Temple before this temple is crowded with so many visitors. Discover the incredible history behind the construction of this massive temple, the largest Buddhist temple in the world. The thousands of volcanic and river stone block was assembled entirely by human labour, took nearly hundreds years to complete. Listed as UNESCO Heritage site, this beautiful temple is still visible in its full glory with magnificent carvings and an unusual.
Afterwards, get a taste of local life with a horse cart ride through Candirejo village. Known as a Dokar, the local horse cart will take you through this peaceful, charming village. You travel along small lanes lined with traditional houses and stop to see village activities such as making cassava crackers, playing the Gamelan and harvesting and drying of vanilla and chili. Drive back to Jogjakarta, stop for your lunch at a local restaurant and the rest of the day is free at leisure. In the early evening meet with your tour guide and drive to Purawisata theatre for your dinner and then witness a performance of traditional Ramayana Dances.

Day 3: PRAMBANAN TEMPLE – PLAOSAN

Stop At: Prambanan Temples, Jl. Raya Temulawak, Prambanan 55514 Indonesia
Today, explore another important temple in Java, which shows the domination of Hindu’s culture amazingly significant in the past. Located not far from down town, Prambanan, an ancient Hindu temples, built in the 9th century features three main inner shrines dedicated to the Hindu trinity: Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. It is also listed as UNESCO Heritage Site since 1991. As you walk around, your guide explains the history and symbolism of the temples. Continue to the nearby temple, Plaosan located in Bugisan village. It is a combination of Hindu and Buddhist temple, thus it is also called as the twin temple. Afterwards, lunch will be served at Kaliopak restaurant surrounded with fully Javanese ambience. The afternoon is free at leisure.

Day 4: JOGJAKARTA CITYTOUR

Stop At: Yogyakarta Palace, Jl. Rotowijayan Blok No. 1 Enter from the west of Alun-alun, Yogyakarta Indonesia
In the morning, visit Keraton Jogjakarta or the sultan palace, it is a grand complex of fine examples of Javanese architecture. Walk through this living museum and learn more about Javanese heritage and culture. At the Keraton exit point, a pedicab or known as Becak wait for you for your short transfer to Taman Sari or Water palace. This palace was built by the first Sultan of Jogjakarta especially dedicated for his harem as a bathing pool. While its liking of cigarettes is no longer a secret, the fact that Indonesia produces (and consumes) cigars remains less renowned. One of the country’s cigar factories is located in Yogyakarta, called Taru Martani. As a venture that has managed to survive after decades, Taru Martani has become part of Indonesian history, and today you visit this old cigar factory to discover the making process of the cigar. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Afterwards, drive to Kota Gede, known as silversmith village, although not a village any more. There are a lot of workshops where you can stop by and witness how the expert transform a piece of silver into a beautiful artwork, and then continue to another Indonesia’s most popular craft, a traditional Batik factory. Here, you may have a chance to create your own batik, start from scratch, making a design, applying wax and then continue mixing your own dye.
In the evening, enjoy a dinner at Dalem Joyokusumo. This Dalem was inhabited by Raden Wedono Condrokusumo, a cousin of Sultan Hamengku Buwono VII. They offer you many kinds of menu which have a high quality of taste and special Kraton culinary aroused your appetite.

Day 5: JOGJAKARTA DEPARTURE
