What to Expect When Visiting Surabaya, Java, Indonesia
Mount Bromo is one of Indonesia’s famous volcanoes that can be hiked up for those who want to have exceptional experiences. You will start from Malang or Surabaya to catch the spectacular sunrise over Mount Bromo. Afterward, proceed to hike up to the top of the volcano and explore the amazing Mount Bromo crater rim. There are 2 option products available, transport only and accommodation included, you have to choose based on your tour preferences.
Itinerary
Day 1: Departure: Surabaya/Malang/Airport – Cemoro Lawang
Pass By: Surabaya, Surabaya, East Java, Java
You will departure from Airport, Hotel, Train Station, and Hotel in Malang or Surabaya or based on your request. Our crew will collect you with air conditioned car then continue 2 hours’ drive to Cemoro Lawang area (a village near Mount Bromo). After hotel check-in, our crew will guide you to walk around, enjoy the village and meet Tenggernese, locals of Mount Bromo.

Accommodation included: Overnight at Rahayu Bromo Guest House, a 2-star hotel. Standard room for 2 travelers and Family room for 3-4 travelers
Day 2: Bromo Tour: Mount Bromo Sunrise – Malang/Surabaya/Airport
Stop At: Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, East Java, Java
Wake up call is very early (Approx. 02.30 am) then prepare for witness the sunrise. A 4WD jeep will pick you up then drive 45 minutes to Sunrise View Point, don’t forget to bring your warm jacket, gloves, and beanie since the temperature is around 8-10 degrees Celsius. Arrive at Sunrise Point take a coffee break first while waiting for sunrise, the sunrise point is sometimes crowded with other travelers but don’t worry our tour guide will find you perfect spot for sunrise.
Afterwards back to jeep then drive down to reach the mount bromo crater. The jeep driver will drop you 5 kilometers from the crater rim and you will continue with walking or use a horseback ride. When you reach at the top of volcano, feel free to explore the crater rim, after that back to your jeep and stopover at local restaurant before back to you hotel. Prepare for hotel check-out and our crew will drive you back to Surabaya or Malang with arriving around 12.30pm.
