Stop At: Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, Jl. Monkey Forest, Ubud 80571 Indonesia
The forest covers approximately 27 acres which is home to three Hindu temples, all constructed in the 1300’s. The monkeys are macaques, and there is roughly over 300 of them and most active during the day and have no fear of humans. Can observe them in natural habitat – mating, fighting, grooming, and caretaking as this place is not only a tourist site, but an important place for research and conservation.
