The Ayung River at 68.5 km is one of the longest in Bali, and the number one activity undertaken on it is the exhilarating adventure sport of White Water Rafting. Fun and safe for all ages and fitness levels (recommend participants are able to swim fully clothed), is a fun packed thrill seekers activity that enables you to raft down one of Bali’s most beautiful rivers, that glides between lush green tropical jungle.
After a safety debrief and explanation on how to enter and exit the raft, your experienced rafting guide will ensure your life vest and safety helmet fit well. Time to hit the water, as you board the raft and experience the thrill of jungle rafting. Navigating rapids, working together as a team to guide your raft down river, on the more sedate sections, you will encounter the sounds of hooting baboons and birds of paradise, that habitat this rich diverse part of the jungle.

Explore the laid back rural Balinese lifestyle and stunning terraced rice paddies of beautiful Mengwi village. Stopping for a buffet style lunch along the way, to rebuild your strength, we then switch from water to land via a scenic walk through tropical rice paddies and plantations.

to our waiting vehicle, where we transfer to the Royal Temple of Mengwi, known locally as Pura Taman Ayun. This picturesque temple is great for Instagram photos, with its unique meji shrine, intricately carved wooden gates and entrance beyond to the sacred monkey forest. Here hundreds of sacred protected baboons and macaque monkeys are seen as watch keepers to the forests sacred spirits.

Our final stop of the day is to the infamous coastal temple of Tanah Lot, just before the sunsets.
