Dieng Plateau is a marshy plateau that forms the floor of a caldera complex on the Dieng Volcanic Complex in Banjarnegara, Central Java, Indonesia. Referred to as “Dieng” by Indonesians, it sits at 2,000 metres (6,600 ft) above sea level, far from major population centres. Dieng plateau is caldera with the surrounding mountains as the edge. There are many craters where gas, water vapor and various other volcanic materials are released.
In addition to the crater, there are also volcanic lakes that contain water mixed with sulfur so it has a distinctive greenish yellow color.

09.10 : Arrive at Kawah Sikidang.
Sikidang Crater was formed from a volcanic eruption in the Dieng Plateau region growing years ago. Until now this crater is still active and if you visit the crater you will see volcanic activity consisting of volcanic mud that is popping up with gas that forms as quickly as white concentrates.
10.00 : Depart to Borobudur Temple (Lunch en-route)

13.15 : Arrive at Borobudur Temple.
Borobudur is the world’s largest Buddhist temple. The temple consists of nine stacked platforms, six square and three circular, topped by a central dome. It is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues. The central dome is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues, each seated inside a perforated stupa.
